7) Are there any academic pre-requisites needed for admission?
The Lundquist College of Business requires you to have completed one term each of microeconomics and macroeconomics before beginning in the program. In addition you must provide evidence of proficiency in mathematics by college-level algebra or calculus or by a score in the 60th percentile or above on the quantitative portion of the GMAT. These pre-requisites can be completed after you have been accepted into the program, but must be done before the fall that you begin at Oregon. In addition to the coursework requirements, the Oregon M.B.A. requires proficiency with commonly used word-processing and spreadsheet software. We recommend--but don't require--an introductory course in statistics and familiarity with accounting fundamentals.

8) Are scholarships available?
A limited number of partial scholarships are available to first-year students. These scholarships are largely merit-based and distributed at the discretion of the Director of the M.B.A. program. Such scholarships do not require a separate application.

10) What are the deadlines for application?

Application deadlines are as follows:

November 15 (Early Decision Deadline)
February 15 (International Student Deadline)
March 15 (Domestic Student Deadline)
May 15 (Late Round – If space is available)

GMATs for each deadline should be taken a month in advance in order to ensure that your scores are reported in time to be included with your application. Admissions decisions will be mailed approximately 4-6 weeks after each deadline.

11) Is there an advantage to applying early?
Though the Center’s admissions standards are consistent throughout the year, there may be some slight advantage in applying early in that the applicant pool is smaller initially. The flip-side of this is that early-applications receive greater scrutiny, also because of the smaller numbers of applicants.

12) Can I transfer into the Warsaw Center from other MBA programs?
The Warsaw Center does not officially take transfer students. However, based on your educational experience, you may qualify for our “4-in-1” accelerated program where you can complete your M.B.A. in four terms (slightly over one calendar year). Many of the basic requirements are waived for accelerated students allowing them to graduate in two fewer terms than traditional students.
